6th Annual Opportunities Prom "Up, Up and Away!" Another wonderful night for all the folks of COI and friends in the community. A surprise for Joansy Bud E. Bee visits Krissy Crabtree at Southwest Airlines Bud E Bee and several CLC and COI staff and one friend of Krissy travel to Southwest Airlines in Dallas to witness Bud E awarding her with the BEEing your best award. Krissy has volunteered and also gained support for many events and projects over the last several years. But it was her help last year when one of our own needed a way to get home for the holidays that put her on the list to get a visit from Bud E Bee. Stephanine had made plans to travel home for Thanksgiving and when those plans fell through Krissy arranged for her to receive airline tickets for herself and someone to assist her with traveling. Stephanie had a wonderful visit and was present for the award ceremony on April 1st to add her own special thank you and a hug. We at COI are so grateful to have the Crabtree family amongst our wonderful group of FRIENDS! BOO!RUN-09 Our first run/walk/stroll event was a success with 100 registered participants and lots of volunteers--we had a great day! 5th Annual Opportunities Prom-"Stars of the Night" It was another wonderful event for Community Opportunities Inc...which we shared with many other local groups and one which came all the way from San Antonio.
